What material is the oil press made of?<\/span><\/h2>\n

All components in contact with the product are made of hardened stainless steel. The blue housing made of steel serves as a control cabinet and all electrical control components are located in it.<\/p>\n

What distinguishes this oil press?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Our customers worldwide value the robust construction of this oil press and it is very popular. The pressed out oil has an extremely low temperature that ideally does not exceed 36\u00b0C - 40\u00b0C, due to our specialized form of a pressing unit. Our energy efficient design allows for power consumption at maximum load never exceeding 450 watt in our presses. This product\u00b4s uniqe shape allows for maximum yield.<\/p>\n

What are the advantages of the linear design of the oil press?<\/span><\/h2>\n

This oil press has a high energy efficiency because of it's linear design (max. 450 W at maximum load) and long life span due to the durable parts, including gearbox unit, electric motor and screw presses. Our extraordinary large axial-and radial bearing system between gears makes for extreme quietness from vibration too while also retaining stability over time which is unmatched by other designs in our class.<\/p>\n

Are trial pressings possible?<\/span><\/h2>\n

We are working with many universities, laboratories and research institutions worldwide. As a result of this we offer sample pressings for free to our customers along with detailed analysis reports which can be sent upon request.<\/p>\n

Is water cooling of the oil press necessary?<\/span><\/h2>\n

All oils pressed with this press can be referred to as cold-pressed oil. The quality of such oils is outstanding and one of a kind. A water cooling system may still be necessary, if you want to lower the outlet temperature below 36\u00b0C (96\u00b0F). In that case we offer an optional watercooling extension upon request.\"<\/p>\n

What setting options are possible on the oil press?<\/span><\/h2>\n

  1. The press gap between the press screw and press star (ideal setting: 1.5 turns)<\/li>\n
  2. The temperature of the press head heating (ideal setting in the manual, depending on the oilseed)<\/li>\n
  3. The diameter of the press nozzle (ideal setting in the manual, depending on the oil seed)<\/li>\n
  4. The speed of the oil press (ideal setting in the manual, depending on the oilseed)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    How long does it take to clean the oil press?<\/span><\/h2>\n

    F\u00fcr die Reinigung sollten Sie ca. 5 – 10 Minuten einplanen. Die Teile der \u00d6lpresse werden auseinander gebaut und k\u00f6nnen leicht gereinigt werden.\u00a0 Ebenfalls k\u00f6nnen die Teile \u00d6lpresse auch in die Sp\u00fclmaschine gegeben werden, allerdings ist hierbei ein aggresives Sp\u00fclmittel mit Tensiden zu vermeiden.<\/p>\n

    What amount can be pressed with this oil press?<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Die maximale Leistung liegt bei dieser \u00d6lpresse bei 20 kg pro Stunde. Dies ist zum Beispiel bei Raps oder Sonnenblumenkernen der Fall. Allerdings ist die h\u00f6chste Drehzahl nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen, da es hierbei zu erh\u00f6hter Reibungsw\u00e4rme f\u00fchrt die nicht ausreichend abgef\u00fchrt werden kann. Die Idealeinstellung liegt in einem Bereich von 50 – 80% der maximalen Drehzahl.\u00a0 Bei weichen oder sehr \u00f6lhaltigen Saaten liegt die Durchlaufmenge niedriger (ca. 10 – 15 kg) um die bestm\u00f6gliche Ausbeute zu erhalten. H\u00e4rtere Kerne oder \u00d6lsaaten sollten ebenfalls bei niedrigerer Umdrehungsgeschwindigkeit gepresst werden, um die maximale Ausbeute gew\u00e4hren zu k\u00f6nnen.     Which tools<\/a> are available for this oil press?<\/span><\/h2>\n

    The oil press will arrive pre-assembled and ready to use. Most commonly, the first equipment includes stainless steel containers for storage of the oil and bottles for filling up with it. There is no need to filter because in most cases it is sufficient that you just let your oil stay sedimented in a container of stainless steel after pressing them out until all oil has been separated from their pulp during this process known as \"decantation.\" When making pressed oils from walnuts we recommend using our special conical funnel which comes equipped with an electric stirrer since walnut often gets caught inside those funnels even if they are not too long or narrow. We also offer further options such as water cooling devices so that temperatures can be lowered under 36\u00b0C. To ensure a long operating time without having to refill the funnel, we construct and offer silosystems for you. We also have pressesnails with different geometries. Silosystem<\/a>, damit die Versorgung der \u00d6lpresse gesichert ist. Ebenfalls bieten wir Pressschnecken mit verschiedenen Geometrien an.<\/p>\n

    What is the press head heating used for?<\/span><\/h2>\n

    Die Presskopfheizung dient der Vorw\u00e4rmung der \u00d6lpresse vor dem Start des Pressvorgangs. Das Pressgut wird in der \u00d6lpresse auf einen sehr hohen Druck gepresst und gelangt als Pelletpresskuchen durch einen sehr engen D\u00fcsendurchmesser. Die Presskopfheizung hat die Aufgabe den Kompressionsprozess des Presskuchens zu unterst\u00fctzen und den Presskuchen geschmeidig zu machen. So gelangt der Presskuchen leichter wieder aus der \u00d6lpresse heraus. Die Presskopfheizung wird w\u00e4hrend des Pressvorgangs auf eine minimale Temperatur gestellt oder kann auch abgeschalten werden.<\/p>\n

    What options do I have with this oil press?<\/span><\/h2>\n

    We deliver the oil press with a press screw and you can choose between the following three screws:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Auger with flat channel for hard oil seeds such as pomegranate, grape or fig seeds<\/li>\n
    2. Screw in the standard version (we supply this with the oil press in 90% of the applications)<\/li>\n
    3. Auger with deep channel for soft and very oily seeds or nuts, such as walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds or peanuts<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
